Maintaining the style and elegance of its past, established in the 1985 restoration, the 1992 construction added our 1,200sq ft. gathering room and our three suites, offering a total of ten beautifully appointed guest rooms. The three suites are ideal for families or bridal parties, and all bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, thermostats, and air conditioners. The carefully chosen furnishings including the canopied and four-poster beds, the hardwood bureaus, and delicate trim, combine to offer comfortable accommodations to satisfy those with selective tastes.

Along with serving as one of the premiere bed and breakfasts in New Hampshire, The Chase House also accepts bookings for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners, family reunions and business functions.

The house's 1,200-square-foot Gathering Room and three acres of meticulously kept lawns and gardens create the warm ambiance - perfect for a couple's most special day. All guest rooms have wonderful views at fall foliage time, as well as scenic winter views.

Accommodations: 9 rooms (3 are suites), each with private bath. One suite has a private balcony and entrance, and another guest room has a fireplace.

Cancellation Policy: 14 days' notice for cancellations except in foliage season (mid-September to the end of October and Dartmouth graduation), when no refunds are made unless we can rebook the reservation for the same room on the same date/dates.

Restrictions: No pets or indoor smoking. Children 12 and over are appropriate for The Chase House.

Breakfast: A full country breakfast is served as part of the rates.

Special Events at Inn: We accept bookings for wedding receptions, wedding ceremony, bridal shower, Sunday brunch, and rehearsal dinners. Business meetings, retreats, re-unions, anniversary and birthday parties are great whether you are traveling from a far or live locally. Hold your rehearsal dinner or indoor reception with dancing in The Chase House's 1,200 square-foot Gathering Room. The three acres of meticulously kept lawns and gardens provide a picturesque location for cocktails on the patio before going indoors for the reception or rehearsal dinner. See weddings, special events, and business meetings.

Recreation & Activities: Hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, golf and swimming are all nearby. Fish for trout in the Connecticut River next to the Inn (excellent fly fishing). In winter onsite snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on our 160 acres, downhill skiing at Ski at Mount Ascutney 7 miles west; Okemo, Vermont, 25 minutes southwest; Mount Sunapee, New Hampshire, 25 minutes southeast; or Killington, Vermont, 40 minutes northwest.

Attractions & Special Events: Dartmouth College; Hanover, New Hampshire; Quechee, Woodstock, and Windsor, Vermont; Cornish Fair in August; and seasonal festivals are all close by. Available for all Dartmouth graduations and Kimball Academy graduations.
